CRICKET AN EXCITING GAME:
Cricket is indeed a very exciting game. The lovers of
cricket say it is the most interesting game in the world. It has all the thrill
and excitement in it. While playing or watching a cricket match, there come
moments of uncertainty of a voyage and thrill of a horror film. At one moment
the match seems quite dull and boring but the next moment, the stumps fly in the
air and match is once again a thrilling and exciting one.
And now the next batsman, a common boy with his bat,
enters the field. He has scored a few runs in his whole career. But as the bass
is thrown to him, he closes his eyes jumps out of the crease and swings his
bat. One can’t believe his eyes but the ball is landed on the roof of the
pavilion. Then there come two or three more big strokes and Lo, he has turned
the tables. Now he has become the hero of the spectators. They cry at the top
of their voice. And the worldwide print and the electronic media gets busy in
highlighting the stories of his heroism. This goes on for five days and if the
match is on day, the moments of thrill and excitement are even more
sensational. The suspense continues to the end and nobody knows that what may
happen next. A good ball, a careless stroke or a missed catch may decide the fate
of the match the young generation is fond of cricket because it gives them
excitement thrill and sensation.
